  These carvings are shaped like starfish and have a nice divot in the center to hold a sphere if you'd like. They can also stand by themselves, but I'd put them somewhere quite stable. I use them as sphere holders personally and I think that is what they work best as, but I always want to share what else crystals may work well as. Anyhow, they measure an average of 3 inches wide/tall and weigh about 2.3 ounces.
