These are 3 great moss agate (2) and tree agate freeform specimens - they are all mostly polished, but have druzy and raw vugs spread throughout. Each is described below as best I can, words and pictures rarely do pieces like these justice, but I'll try :)
1. This first piece is a prime example of what many call tree agate, it stands well on several sides and looks like branches climbing up against a cloudy sky. There are many vugs that still have sediment within. It is an inch and a half to two inches in several directions - it really depends on the way you choose to display it.
2. This moss agate piece includes some sections that are also similar to tree agate, but overall the body is greener with more of the river and moss sections that are more commonly known or as moss agate. It has several quart-filled vugs and moss sections that snake their way across entire faces of the multi-faceted piece
3. To me, the highlight of this piece is the quartz that is surrounded by the moss dendrites - this is a much more quart filled piece with two sections that include, what looks like to me, to be smoky quartz teeth. This tree agate quartz specimen is around two inches in a variety of directions - once more it really depends on how it is placed.
