The base features dark iron-rich coloration that transitions into cloudy whites and soft peach tones typical of moonstone. Slight shimmer is visible in some areas, giving this piece subtle flash.
Moonstone forms in layers of feldspar minerals, while hematoid quartz gets its red and brown hues from iron oxide inclusions. Together, they create an earthy, elemental blend of light and grounding tones.
This very unique piece is a mix of hematoid quartz and moonstone. The moonstone (or white labradorite) is 5.5 inches tall and weighs 435 grams (or about one pound).
